SUMMARY:Ayr Rememberance Parade
DESCRIPTION:Held the sunday before Rememberance Day – 296 Cadets will partipcate in this afteroon event. \nAll cadets encouraged to attend. \n  \nHeld in Ayr – it’s a wonderful memorial\, and for those parents  unable to attend the formal Nov 11th parade on Monday a good event to attend. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCadets will meet at the Queen Elizabeth arena in Ayr\, before marching the short route to the Cenotaph. We’ll dismiss from that same arena. \n  \nThe event will begin at the Cenotaph at 1400h\, and it will last approx 1 hr. \n  \nDon’t be late – police roadblocks will make last minute travel difficult.  \n  \nDress – C1 for uniformed cadets.   Ensure you have parka. \nRecruits – white shirt & dark pants with a jacket. \n( we will  have some poppies there for those whom need one) \n  \n1330 – arrive at Arena \n1350 – March to Cenotaph \n1400h – Event begins \n1500h –   March back to arena and dismiss. \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n

DESCRIPTION:Cadets will participate in the Cadet Fitness Assessement – a fitness test that will benchmark their levels in five separate activities.     Those cadets whom complete at a higher level are elidgible for a fitness badge to be worn on their blue uniform – leveled as Bronze\, Silver\, Gold or Excellence.       All cadets regardless of fitness level are encouraged to take part. \nOnce Fit test is completed\, ( about 70 minutes) we’ll play some fun team sports. \n  \nEntrance to Doyle is along side\, by track. \n  \nMust have: \nDry non -marking running shoes.  ( No wet footwear in gym – bring dry shoes!) \nSports clothes \nbring Health card \nWater bottle. \n

DESCRIPTION:Cadets will be working with the Royal Highland Fusiliers of Canada in their Stuff an Army Truck food drive to support the Cambridge Food Bank and the Foodbank of Waterloo Region. \n  \nSenior cadets will be asssiting the RHFC soldiers in this festive activity at Cambridge Sobeys on Cedar Street. \n  \nPlease stop by to say hi\, or if you are able – make a donation of non-perishable food to help. \n  \n  \n( the RHFC will be a multiple Sobeys in Waterloo Region – getting help from multiple cadet units – we’re helping in Cambridge) \n  \n
