DESCRIPTION:More info here for cadets participating in the annual Thanksgiving Oktoberfest Parade in KW. \n( Cadets from other units will be there as well ) \n  \n  \nTimings: \n  \n0645 – meet at Church ( location below) \n0700h – receive position in parade\, get changed.   ( you can leave backpack at church) \n0800h – Marshall will begin positioning cadets along parade \n0830h – Parade steps off. \n0930h – Start of parade will get to end. \n1000h – First busses transport teams back to church. \n1100h – Parade ends ( approx. time) \n1200h – All cadets should be back to church by this time for pick up.   ( the earlier they carry a sign\, the earlier they will be done. ) \n  \n  \n  \n  \nClothing: \nCadets will NOT be in cadet uniform. \nSign & Flag carriers will be required to wear German Tracht (i.e. dirndl or lederhosen) while other students may be required to wear clown costumes. All costumes and Tracht will be provided by Kitchener-Waterloo Oktoberfest.  All provided costumes MUST be returned at the end of the parade. Please leave valuables at home to avoid loss. DESCRIPTION:Parade in Ayr \nDress – C1 Blue Uniform / White Shirt dark pants \n( cadets will wear the highest order of dress they have) \nNote – cadet may of course wear their parka shell.  They will NOT wear the fleece liner alone with their blue uniform. \n  \n  \n\n\n\nEvent: \n \n\nAyr Remembrance Parade\n\n\n\nClassification: \n \n\nCommunity Support\n\n\n\nPurpose: \n \nSupport Community\n\n\nDetails: \n \nParticipate in parade. \nMeeting point at Community Center / Queen Elizabeth arena on Church Street. \n \n\n\nDate\nSunday 5 Nov 2023 \n \n\n\nTimes \n \nArrive 1330h. \nParade step off at 1345\, service begins 1400h \nDismiss there at approx. 3pm \n \n\n\nTransportation: \n \nCadets will meet in AYR at the Queen Elizabeth arena. \n \n\n\nAccommodations: \n \nNone.\n\n\nDress: \n \nCdt parka outer shell\, with liner as required. \nComplete uniform with blue tunic and tie. \nCadets without Blues – FTU with Parka. \nRecruits – Boots / Coat / dark pants \n \n\n\nSpecial \nInstructions: \n \n  \nThis will count towards Volunteer Time hours for the cadets OSSD \nParents are welcome to attend the service – held in Downtown Ayr at the Cenotaph \n \n\n\nOPI\nCapt Legge
