( there are cadets who sign up for many items\, but fail to show without any reason given) \n  \n  \nDetails \n  \n\n\n\nEvent: \n \n\nSpring Gliding Day \n\n\n\nClassification: \n \n\nFamiliarization Training\n\n\n\nPurpose: \n \nTo acquaint cadets with the activities of flying in a glider\, and in an aerodrome operations. \n \n\n\nDetails: \n \nThis event is weather dependent.    It may be called off at the start of the day\, or at any point during due to weather conditions\, resulting in an early return.  \n  \nNote -this day is on the TAG fundraising weekend.  Cadets attending will be expected to make up their required TAG times during the other available tagging periods on the weekend.  \n  \nCadets will rendezvous at the Armoury at the start time and will transport to Airport via schoolbus.  Cadets will engage in ground handling activity\, flying and recreational concurrent activities.  Lunch will be provided on site however cadets are encouraged to bring personal water bottles and snacks.. \n  \nPRIORITY SPACES WILL BE GIVEN TO CADETS WHOM HAVE NOT GLIDED BEFORE\, and have demonstrated traits of positive attendance. \nIf you glided in 2023- do not sign up. \n  \nThere is only room for 30 cadets to attend Maximum.    A waiting list will be posted for those additional cadets interested. \n \n\n\nStart Time \n \nSATURDAY\, 20 Apr 2024 @ 0700 hrs\n\n\nReturn Time \n \nSATURDAY\, 20 Apr 2024 @ 1630 hrs (approx.)\n\n\nLocation: \n \nPickup and Drop off with be from the Cambridge Armoury\n\n\nTransportation: \n \nBus Provided\n\n\nAccom:: \n \nNone Required \n \n\n\nMessing:\nMessing (lunch) will be provided. \n \n\n\nDress: \n \nAppropriate Civilian Attire in accordance with weather. \nBring Sports equipment (baseball\, glove\, soccer ball\, etc.) for use while waiting. \nCadets must have their valid health card with them. \n \n\n\nOPI:\nCapt King\n\n\n\n  \n \n

DESCRIPTION:A number of fundraising sessions will be available. \nThe flexibility should allow cadets with jobs or other events to participate in the fundraiser.   Cadets have signed up for 1 or more sessions. \n  \n  \nDetails: \nActivity: \nCadets will meet at armoury\, get a partner\, and their tag box. DESCRIPTION:This is NOT a regular training night! \nWe’ll be using the march break to take a break from aviation training to get some time on the range for those cadets in town!   All cadets encouraged to attend! \n  \n  \n  \nNew cadets whom have NEVER shot will have safety course prior to going on range.  This will include any new recruits as well as any cadets whom have never shot ( list below). \n \n  \nAll other cadets will be scheduled to shoot during  the evening. \n  \nA schedule was posted for cadets to sign up – thanks to those who did.  IF  you missed signing up we can still fit you in – just show up on time! \nIf  you have not shot this year\, or ever with cadets – you should be down this Wed if you are in town! \n  \n  \nNote – this is an event being held during march break. We recognize many cadets and their families will be away.     This is one more opportunity for cadets to shoot and build their skill\, but any cadets whom are away will not be marked absent. \n  \n  \nStaff cadets helping set up – please arrive at 1730h. \nAll cadets taking shooting safety course must arrive for it’s start at 1800h. \nAll other cadets will arrive \n  \nDress – Civilian clothing suitable to laying on ground\, aiming rifle.    Jeans / track-pants\, t-shirts/ hoodies are more than acceptable.    Bring a water bottle. \nCadets will be wearing safety glasses to shoot. \n  \n  \n  \n  \nThe list of cadets whom have not shot can be found here: \nhttp://www.296aircadets.com/range-night/ \n  \n  \n  \nWhile there should be time for all cadets to shoot\, and space for the senior cadets to score and coach – we need to try to get through the following cadets whom have not shot yet.
